We didn’t have the opportunity to get Peter + Clavel in front of our cameras before their wedding day, as we usually try to do with our couples at their engagement shoot. We always love spending the extra time with our couples and getting them at ease with the camera around so that their wedding day can be a breeze. That being said, it is always a little more nerve wracking getting a couple in front of our camera for the very first time ON their wedding day. But to our amazement, Peter + Clavel ROCKED it in front of the camera! We had a BLAST doing their bride + groom portraits, they were putting US at ease! They let their love and joy in being together shine and that is exactly what we love to capture!
I hope you will enjoy the warmth and sweetness they carry that is so evident in their love for each other and those closest to them. Peter and his groomsmen were the goofiest we’ve ever had and their superman socks, one of my personal favorite details!!
We have had a busy summer and autumn season between weddings, family shoots, and LIFE. We have hustled and pushed and worked hard because we will be spending November [our favorite month] on a dream come true trip in Europe!!! This is a trip I have dreamed of my entire life, crossing off some major bucket list items like spending our wedding anniversary at the Eiffel Tower and sitting at corners of bark and cheese [shoutout to any Gilmore Girl’s fans who get that]. But to be honest, we are MOST looking forward to just being together. To unplugging from day to day responsibilities and focusing on making memories and cherishing each other.
So, excuse me if it gets quiet here for a while, but we are strong believers in stepping back regularly and honing on those top, top priorities. And for us, that is our individual relationships with our Heavenly Father, our marriage, and our dear daughter. I hope this season of gratefulness holds some of the same for you!
When we get back, I will be thrilled to share our last wedding of the year with ya’ll, which is also the very one that I have been RIDICULOUSLY excited about from the very first moment I got the inquiry call!
