Meet Andrew & Charissa

We're a photography duo that was born out of the discovery that life is better together. We believe that life is worth celebrating, enjoying, and savoring all of the richest moments with the ones we love. We believe that marriage is about partnership, committed support, and doing life with your best friend at your side. That's why we've committed ourselves to capturing your sweetest moments, to making your memories count so that you can always look back on that one image of your bride walking down the altar and that tear you almost shed is fresh in your memory. Our desire is to share with you from the abundance of love we have been given.

“There’s no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard. No song that I could sing,
but I can try for your heart. Our dreams, and they are made out of real things,
like a shoebox of photographs, with sepia-toned loving.” Jack Johnson

When you first meet Charissa you will probably be swept up in her delightful loveliness (like I secretly was). As one who works to capture the best natural light on her subjects' faces, she has an innate ability to cast a personal "joy light" that radiates from inside her and brightens those around her. But if you get to know her a little better, you'll find a deeper undertone of a fierce passion for people and living life to the fullest. But I wouldn't want to give it all away. So let her take you out to coffee (she would love it) and learn more.
- Andrew

Andrew is one of those amazingly unique people who can balance being creative and technical at the same time. He can look for the rare angle, the new pose, yet be challenging himself to perfect flash lighting and wants to know what exactly "that" button does and how. You can get him to geek out on you on anything physics related, and yet he's always ready to share encouraging insights, new ideas, and fresh perspective. I think he's great.

Our first. Because come on, even though we were the worst dressed, ate the least food, and acted the most awkward, it was essential.

Our top ten dates
(in no particular order)

The one where we spontaneously cuddled under a gazebo and we ended up under a lamp post and a ring was pulled out and a “will you marry me?” asked.

Our top ten dates

That one, early on, where we wandered around a historic hotel and ended up on the roof top, sitting high, on top of the city, on top of the world.

Our top ten dates

During that sad, sad time when we were thousands of miles apart, across oceans, and Andrew arranged for Charissa to adventure around- skyping the whole time. It was almost like we were together again. Almost.

Our top ten dates

We must have known this was for real, because there was that date, that oh-so fate defining date, where we went and bought a tandem bike.

Our top ten dates

A showing of the nutcracker and the most delicious Thai food of our lives. This one makes the list merely for the fact that it was our first real date, dressing up and all, as a married couple. Husband and wife. It was a big deal.

Our top ten dates

Valentine’s Day, 2016. We had a three week old and Andrew planned a surprise couple’s massage. Ah yes, we were very spoiled new parents.

Our top ten dates

That one where we first discovered the Rose Garden. On Aurora Avenue.

Our top ten dates

Just the other day, when we ate delicious food (everything tastes better when we get to experience it together), drove around and dreamed and laughed and remembered. Just because every date on a Monday night is a good one.

Our top ten dates

During that oh-so-lovely three month long honeymoon in Oregon, when we ventured down to some gorgeous waterfalls and Charissa taught Andrew how to take pictures on her iPhone. The dream of photographing love together was just beginning.
